A brass object connecting physical craft with digital identity.
Edition 01 – Genesis

The Object
Near Field Circuit: Genesis Edition marks our studio's first physical token—a CNC-machined brass artifact embedded with an advanced NFC chip and seamlessly paired with a digital twin on the LUKSO blockchain. Limited to just ten foundational pieces, this modern signet reimagines ancient seals, bridging physical authentication with contemporary digital identity.
Physical Form
Each piece is CNC-machined from solid brass, electroplated with copper, hand-assembled, and embedded with an ARX HaLo NFC chip.
Dimensions: 45mm × 8mm
Weight: 44g
Over time, the surface develops a natural patina, reflecting the artifact's evolving journey.
Digital Function
Read
Tap the artifact with your NFC-enabled smartphone to view its interaction history.
Write
Connect your Universal Profile to record presence and claim digital ownership—ownership that passes fluidly with each new interaction.
Design Ethos
NFC tags are typically hidden—added as an afterthought. Near Field Circuit reimagines them as standalone, crafted objects of significance.
Inspired by ancient seals, material-led design, and emergent technology, this project embodies a new model of identity and provenance.

Technology
Each artifact features the ARX HaLo NFC chip, securely bonded to an LSP8 token on the LUKSO blockchain. Every interaction generates a cryptographic signature recorded to your Universal Profile. The smart contract supports upgradeable metadata, enabling future functionality to evolve with the object.
